Miss Cleopatra is a cultural beauty pageant that goes far beyond physical appearance. It is a celebration of femininity, culture and intelligence — an event that highlights the beauty, talent and values of women from the Great Lakes region of the DRC.

Our mission

Miss Cleopatra aims to:

• Celebrate African elegance in all its diversity.
• Promote cultural heritage, traditional dress and local arts.
• Develop participants' soft skills: public speaking, leadership and personal development.
• Create a network of engaged, influential women in the region.
• Support social causes through the crowned Miss's year of service.

The competition format

1. Applications and pre-selection: Candidates submit an application dossier including a motivation letter, CV and photos. A rigorous pre-selection retains the finalists.
2. Training period: Finalists benefit from training in elocution, general culture, personal development and social graces.
3. Thematic runway walks: Candidates present themselves in traditional costumes, gala attire and outfits of their choice, representing their culture and personality.
4. Grand finale: An exceptional gala evening where the jury designates Miss Cleopatra and her runners-up before a large audience.
5. Crowning and mission: Miss Cleopatra receives her crown and commits to a year of representation, social action and cultural ambassadorship.
